We finally got our custom cups fabricated, at least the 4 and 6 ounce versions, 8 ounce cups gonna take another day or two but that’s alright, we’ve gone this long without ’em another day ain’t gonna hurt none! No more non-de script plain white cups that could’ve come from anywhere, now when you’re showin’ off your favorite flavors on the instagram or walking the streets of downtown McKinney folks are gonna know you got Cocktail Creamery ice cream in that cup… 😁
It might not be officially Summer yet but it sure feels like it, it’s hot out there and kinda humid too, temps reaching up to 91 with lots of sun today. Overnight lows down in the upper 70’s and more of the same for karaoke Wednesday. A chance of showers very early Friday but clearing with time to spare for Friday Night Live with the amazing Bedlam Station!

Good question Peter, Gods plans for His creation will proceed in His timeframe no matter what we may say or do about it. And, might I add, I’m personally very glad about that! Peter’s Hebrew brethren hear the matter as recounted by him and draw similar conclusions.

It seems as if the Gentiles are beginning to be an example to the Hebrews as God is beginning to turn His focus upon them. Meanwhile…
Acts 11:19 KJB… “Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to NONE BUT UNTO THE JEWS ONLY.”
The gospel Jesus gave the Hebrew disciples to preach they continued to preach (after the anomaly of Cornelius) to NONE BUT THE JEWS ONLY! To say that Peter and his brethren continued their Kingdom ministry to the Gentiles is clearly false; their ministry is to the circumcision whereas Paul’s ministry of grace is to the uncircumcision. We will see this dichotomy far more clearly in Acts 15; we see here the 12 are ministering only to Jews, with the single exception of Cornelius and his family.
Acts 11:21 KJB… “And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.”
The Hebrew ministry is still gathering its remnant as it has in the past and will once again sometime in the future! Paul later refers to this group in:
Romans 11:5 KJB… “Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.”

I’m asking for some prayers this day friends. Our dear friend and musical guest Lou Ann Price Music last evening was taken by ambulance to the McKinney ER last night mid-set and then transferred to Medical City Plano around midnight suffering from severe head pain. CT scans showed a small but troubling bleed in her brain which is requires immediate attention. Thanks to the McKinney Emergency Services we all got her right where she needed to be immediately and this was caught right quick in real time. Tonight’s guests Nikki Nelson and Steve Oliver had their own family emergency and needed to cancel their performance this evening at our place as well. “God is on His throne and prayer changes things” as Southwest Radio Ministries has been proclaiming since 1933. May our prayers and the Good Lord change things for the better for all our musical friends this very day… 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Woohoo, it’s finally here, happy Friday friends! You know it’s not just any Friday today, nope… it’s Texas Music Revolution Friday… 🤠 Our hometown downtown square is all about Texas music all weekend long and we sure are a part of the fun! The Barlor is very honored to present Lou Ann Price Music this evening and we’re gonna fire up the tunes just a wee bit early at 7:30 to better fit in with other scheduled bands. If you got a ticket to the big show you’re in for a mighty fine time but lemme tell ya, you don’t need a ticket to come hear Lou Ann’s exceptional vocals blended beautifully with her signature pearl white Gretsch 12-string guitar! A gifted singer/songwriter for sure and a very sweet soul too… 😊
Got a bit of rain in our area this morning moving north pretty quickly. Might see a few more spotty showers as the day progresses but I’m thinkin’ we’ll be mostly high and dry for a good time Friday night!
